I knew I had struck gold after I discovered this while we were just friends. At a time her phone was in shambles and it would have made a lot of sense for her to have diverted all her resources towards that goal. But, my MDR would think otherwise, she was all concerned about a project in Juvenile Homes for boys (Oregun, Lagos). I still consider the gesture of buying her desired brand of phone to be one of my achievements (or money well spent) in recent times because of her selflessness & commitment to humanity. She recently concluded a summer training program for some brilliant minds. Those that might not have had summer experience, if not for her intervention despite the limitation of resources. And my commitment to always compensate and encourage such devotion to human investment/development would lead me to specially write this for her, to acknowledge the good she has and still doing for her community and her world at large.
