I don't want to wake tomorrow, to see today

I can't help but wonder how today thinks it's going to create a different tomorrow by listening to a failed yesterday. The thinking today might not know what it should be about but if the method of elimination as thought by mathematics is useful at least it should know what not to be about. Who and what are the failed past? If we have ever had a conversation about Financial institutions, you would probably have heard me say this statement: "I would rather not bank at all than bank with Union Bank" I must also commend their improvement if they continue might change my stand one day . What I have not told many is why I have this strong notion towards the bank. Growing up they made banking unattractive and my mum would sometimes have me pay part of the price. Making a withdrawal at that time was true rocket science. I remember my mum would have to deposit me at her bank to join the queue, which could last 5 hours or more before it gets to her turn coupled with serious pl

Followers of Pharisees

As long as I would admit that the charlatans on the pulpits are not the root cause of the problem facing us as a Nation.  I am also very sure that Nigeria and (you) Nigerians would have been better off without exposure to their lies, devilish, wrong & deceptive teachings. Jesus said to them, ‘Be careful. Do not accept the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod.’ Mark 8:15 EASY I can list several areas you could have been better off but let me tell you one.  I know some of you truly believe that there are enemies you should kill. But, here is the paradox - you will occasionally say that everything belongs to God or that God made the world (which I know for you is just rhetoric that you do not believe). The first time I heard the prayer of the enemy  I was already a teenager and sadly it was in a shrine called Church that I first heard it. But that is not the saddest part of it. If you truly know me then you would know that I have also actively practiced other religions before

Solution To The Blind's Description/Prescription

5 qualities of people you should be listening to - People that are not at your level - by this I mean have a clearer understanding of situations than you do. And this would be expressive through their guts & courage. Courageous - people that say the things you know are true only that you are coward to say them. This is a pointer they are not at the same level as you. What you worship is not their god. If they are not afraid of your god/charlatan, it's a pointer, they may have a higher one in them/ on their side. People that see beyond the problem and what it is. But also see the possibilities of what could/can be. People that would also consider themselves aas part of the solution/change agent. And are already committing themselves to the process than just survival living. Then lastly and most importantly for me people who would not just keep you as a member forever. People that will challenge you to become you (inspire you to see yourself as part of the solution more than spec

The Blind's Description/Prescription

Nigerians do not have business with some words, that a word is in the dictionary does not mean you should use it. We don't know what: wealth, intelligence, megacity, prosperity, spirituality, influence, patriotism, informed, sanity, human etc mean. These words were not created for this region of the world and as such desist from abusing them. Watch out! For the blind descriptions/prescriptions Ditch loading... If we must get out of the ditch we are already in as a Nation. We must stop taking the description/prescription from the same blinds (we've been listening to) on the pulpits & in politics. Adeboye, kumuyi, poju,  oyedepo, bakare, paul, obasanjo, atiku, tinubu, babangida, adeyemi, chris, ayo, obi, buhari etc. These charlatans have been in business for more than 20 years if they are not blind we wouldn't be in the ditch. #stopfollowingtheblinds Stay away from the Pharisees. They are blind leaders. And if a blind man leads another blind man, then both men will fall i

Keep your focus on your Lord thy God

There was a time my hope was based on the help I could get from people. Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed tremendous help from people and I still do. My story is never about self-made; I have had/still have Incredibles around me. But I get it when the psalmist says: "his help cometh from the lord". David has shifted his expectations away from people and as such their performance/underperformance does not remove/take anything away from his relationships or does not get him to be disappointed in/with people. Keep your focus on your Lord thy God. Selah! Source: Psalm 121
