Over the weekend, some of my safe group buddies asked me for my opinion about a place called heaven and hell. I told them about the concept of heaven/hell, which I think would be more rewarding than a fiery furnace. I believe that life requires us to give feedback on our performance here on Earth, just like in every sport where there is always a dressing room and a post-match conference to report back to. I also believe that life has some sort of place, which some would call by different names based on their sentiments and beliefs. The rewards of each player would be given based on their impact on the game, just like at the end of all seasons where players are rewarded for their contribution as individuals or as a team. In the 60's the Federal government would have to beg and provide a lot of incentives for professionals to be motivated to go abroad. But now Nigerians would risk or literally commit themselves to a suicide mission of escaping the same country through the Mediterranean sea. What changed? Of course, the Government is top of the list also we allowed charlatans to take a grip of the pulpits.  We allowed the same characters that took over the political arena to also take up the church system. That was when it truly became disastrous. The disaster that hit Nigerian society.

  The misconception about what we think we are and the reality of who we truly are. In a bid to repel what is bad and done to us, that is bad we somehow feel comfortable in developing strategies to rebel against such atrocities done to us rather than to resolve not to become the exact thing we hope to repel against. If the idea is to do things differently and governs every resource within our disposal then our energy should be channeled towards doing things not just against the system we do not want to become but to absolutely do things differently. How then can we begin to do things differently from the norm? Admit what is done that is wrong - for us to be able to admit our wrong regardless of who and what is involved we must therefore get rid of our sentiments. Meaning we must get into another consciousness of able-ness to find or discard sentiments towards life.
