To the new breed



In 2013, I had concluded on leaving Christianity. At that time, I was done deceiving myself about the whole idea of what Christianity should represent. I never came to Christ for survival (this I know I can achieve outside Christ), but for significance. And my sure measurement for that target is to see a national transformation at least. So, I came into Christianity because I thought His principles and the stories could help transform my Nation and eventually see a transformed kingdom both now (earth) and after (Heaven) 

 

In fact, it was on that basis I got connected to everything and anything that represented Christ. And 2005, I became fascinated by Charlatan Sam Adeleyemi and everything around him also (there was one of his messages in 1997 at a PFN meeting, he preached passionately about mind transformation and how it would ultimately lead to National transformation. And also read his book titled "the 2nd revolution").  I later discovered it was around that same time he got connected to Sunday Adelaja (a specialist in National transformation) and it seems everything was on the right path until he got connected to a more senior charlatan "David Oyedepo" (another story for another day). 

 

So, back in 2013 I was sure, did not have my answers and wanted to leave Christianity. At this time the stories in the Bible were to me just fables and tales by moonlight (there was nothing around me replicating those feats in recent times).  Until Christ came and taught me how to get to him outside of these charlatans on the pulpit. The instruction was simple, He asked me to study His word in the Bible, those red parts in the New Testament and see whether it was the same as what I had heard/seen from these charlatans on the pulpit. 

 

And that was how I discovered this sad reality, that my investment in going to church for the purpose of knowing Christ and National transformation resulted in absolute waste of time. 

 

Now, I obviously didn't leave Christ, I only left the church (the building) and because of what I discovered and I am now convinced of the potency of Christ's message which centred on Love and Truth to transform a life, space, society, Nation and our world in now and after. 

 

To the new breed of Christ 

To a National Transformation Believers 

To the Kingdom carriers

Who and what are the failed past? 3 Sometimes in 2005, After about 7 years,  I temporarily stopped reading books! My brother didn't understand and wasn't pleased about what I did. He couldn't understand why I would do that, (if you have ever gained any insight at all from me, part of the persons you should applaud is my brother. He introduced me to books outside academics and played the father figure in my life). Back to the story, he couldn't comprehend why I would suddenly stop reading even though I at that time didn't fully understand also. But part of the things knowledge gathering had thought me is to pay attention to my instinct.
