One of the things you must develop is the capacity to stay true to yourself regardless. Your strength /self-esteem as a person is in remaining true to yourself. But can you remain true to something you don't know or have not discovered yet?   The best you will ever gain from Religion is repetition or in the word of Jesus "rhetoric". But rhetorics will ultimately birth frustration as you can see in the lives of the religious in this country(Nigeria).  Though they have mastered the deception with their tongues but not their actions follow their actions and you will see how messed up their religion is. But some noticed that as they listened to Christ that it was not just rhetoric as usual they were no longer frustrated anymore because not only did they know what to do but they noticed they were also doing so. And they noticed the difference to be that they were now inspired by someone different from their usual religious leaders they are now been coached by someone they noticed was doing the things he was saying.   Yeah! hello, Africans so last time we talked about re-engineering looking for the same tools that were used in designing where we are as Africans and using the same tool to re-engineer Africa. There are tools that were used by our colonizers by our oppressive system and the oppressors to get Africans to where we are right now one of them we've discussed is religion and the other would be looking at is education. Yes! our educational system was designed in such a way to teach us things from the perspectives of our oppressors but not necessarily true to our originality.  Some of the things that we actually learned were counterproductive to where we were coming from as Africans they were not truly a representation of our culture our tradition and of our heritage as Africa and as such some of this education actually led us to become more loyal to the European culture or the Western way of life than to our African and traditional way of life.   While some families were busy researching and developing some innovations some families were busy dancing naked around a tree. Civilization came and some were much more interested in their Nation and were sold out for the course, some others were busy sabotaging their Nation for their personal and family gain and the rest simply aligned with their oppressors to kill their liberators. I don't need to ask what side your older generation was we both know just let me simply ask would you rather change and rewrite the course of your generation or it would be to retain status quo? I know the part my family was and that is the reason I am realigning myself so that my generation unborn would earn the right to sit at the table because of the active role their father and grandpa played in the development of His Nation. When you have been in an extremely dark environment and there is light all of a sudden what do you think would happen? You will be forced to close your eyes. That feedback tells me something that the element is different from what you are used to and as such it is not what you are. But if there is a noise and only a noise in a dark environment what do you think would happen?
