Reengineering of Education

Yeah! hello, Africans so last time we talked about re-engineering looking for the same tools that were used in designing where we are as Africans and using the same tool to re-engineer Africa.

There are tools that were used by our colonizers by our oppressive system and the oppressors to get Africans to where we are right now one of them we've discussed is religion and the other would be looking at is education. Yes! our educational system was designed in such a way to teach us things from the perspectives of our oppressors but not necessarily true to our originality.

Some of the things that we actually learned were counterproductive to where we were coming from as Africans they were not truly a representation of our culture our tradition and of our heritage as Africa and as such some of this education actually led us to become more loyal to the European culture or the Western way of life than to our African and traditional way of life. Also would design us not to be loyal to our traditional and African way of life we're also not able to improve on some of the things that we were supposed to improve as Africans.

For instance, instead of improving our land instead of building our land instead of using some of the education and information we have gotten in school to build our land, it was the other way round which we used to extract the natural resources the mineral resources and the human resources to other Western countries. But, it's time to begin to re-engineer the tools that were used to get us to the point where we are to where we ought to be or where we should be as Africans. So, let's ask ourselves what role our educational system or the information we've acquired over the years what role is it playing in our lives as Africans in such a way that it begins to position us to work on our continent to get to where we ought to be and where we should be in the scope of things. Education should play a role it shouldn't just be something we bag for just bagging sake or bragging's sake it shouldn't be something we get for just for the sake of respect just to put some respect at the back of our names No it should be towards the furtherance and the Improvement of Africa, towards the Reconstruction and the rebuilding of Africa and that is what education is supposed to be and that is the role it should play in our land.

So, the question again is what role is your acquired education playing in the Reconstruction of the African continent if it is not playing any role then you might have to unlearn everything you've learned so far and begin to relearn and start learning consciously as an African in such a way that everything that you are learning can be taken to the market to buy resources and raw materials towards the Redevelopment and the Reconstruction of Africa that's my take for you, for now, see you in the next episode.

Time Validates

Hey there. Let's set the alarm for a productive day ahead. Before diving in, let's acknowledge the date, which might vary depending on where you're tuning in from. Now, let's get to it. But first, a word on the political and economic landscape here in Nigeria. It's crucial to recognize that the political elite often prioritizes their own interests over those of the people. Trusting them blindly is akin to living in a cycle of déjà vu, where they justify their actions while contradicting the interests of the people. Remember the proposal some time back that all politicians should educate their kids within Nigeria? The dismissive response to that idea was telling. It's clear they prioritize their own convenience over the needs of the people. We mustn't be naive to think they have our best interests at heart. It's imperative for us, the citizens, to organize and protect our own interests. Unity among us is paramount, transcending divisions based on religion

The Merchant of Venice

I got to the point of deliberately using movies as an extension of my library. It was 2 weeks to the exam and the book "Merchant of Venice" would not enter my skull no matter how hard I tried, it was a book written by Shakespeare and like the usual Shakespeare style of writing this would be a bit technical also because of its settings (in literature setting means the actual place and time of an event). This literature is centred around the old Italian environment. So there were many terminologies used in English that were unclear because of the Italian twist. Don't forget it was 2 weeks before the WAEC (West African Examination Council) Exam.  The Twist - So my beautiful literature teacher got informed that there was a premiere of the Merchant of Venice book (the movie) at another school and gave us the update. It was the needed update very sure than any 'maga or fraudsters' update would rely on. It was a turning point in how I would begin seeing and interacting w
