Good on One

Let me make this confession here and it might not be what I will post often. I have nothing against the charlatans in politics and on pulpits. They are yet to offend me personally.

Let me clarify this further some of you would not know if I do not tell you that my speaking up against their actions is not from a personal angle.

Let me start by saying that I have benefited from the philanthropy act of Charlatans on the pulpit, business, and politics. Bishop Mike Okonkwo learning institute taught me some skills free of charge (is good to say that I might not have a tech business if not for the institute) and one of my benefactors also is Dangote paid for my tuition.

And at some point in my life the church became a home and office to me, and I met interesting people in their also.

If you think that is all to free things I have gotten then you just watch this space. Considering that I am also a trained Google and IBM developer and currently doing a course with over 120 thousand Africans. This course is valued at 40000 dollars for free then you don't know anything about the 'grace' that I carry getting free kinds of stuff. Lol!

During Jonathan's administration, we got some funding (I mean my business) from the world bank and more came in also under Buhari's administration and more for sure would also come in this new administration.

But is it enough to settle with the activities of the charlatans by how I am treated? Well, let me not answer the question for now let me take you to a story you are more familiar with in the Bible. Some of you have quoted it without trying to understand the justification of the perspective of Moses.

Moses was practically rescued from being slaughtered by the palace of the pharaoh in that world we would not be wrong to consider that Moses's life now belongs to the pharaoh but suddenly after a lifetime of investments and training, he got from the palace which was impossible to have gotten anywhere else. Moses remembered his people and would lead a revolution against his benefactors.

How just is this story? Well, that is another conversation to determine from this story another time but for the sake of this post let's just stick with why did he do what he did.

For a revolutionary it is not just enough that I am a beneficiary, to a revolutionary an atrocity on one is an atrocity on all and a good on one is good on all.

Time Validates

Hey there. Let's set the alarm for a productive day ahead. Before diving in, let's acknowledge the date, which might vary depending on where you're tuning in from. Now, let's get to it. But first, a word on the political and economic landscape here in Nigeria. It's crucial to recognize that the political elite often prioritizes their own interests over those of the people. Trusting them blindly is akin to living in a cycle of déjà vu, where they justify their actions while contradicting the interests of the people. Remember the proposal some time back that all politicians should educate their kids within Nigeria? The dismissive response to that idea was telling. It's clear they prioritize their own convenience over the needs of the people. We mustn't be naive to think they have our best interests at heart. It's imperative for us, the citizens, to organize and protect our own interests. Unity among us is paramount, transcending divisions based on religion

The Merchant of Venice

I got to the point of deliberately using movies as an extension of my library. It was 2 weeks to the exam and the book "Merchant of Venice" would not enter my skull no matter how hard I tried, it was a book written by Shakespeare and like the usual Shakespeare style of writing this would be a bit technical also because of its settings (in literature setting means the actual place and time of an event). This literature is centred around the old Italian environment. So there were many terminologies used in English that were unclear because of the Italian twist. Don't forget it was 2 weeks before the WAEC (West African Examination Council) Exam.  The Twist - So my beautiful literature teacher got informed that there was a premiere of the Merchant of Venice book (the movie) at another school and gave us the update. It was the needed update very sure than any 'maga or fraudsters' update would rely on. It was a turning point in how I would begin seeing and interacting w
