Our Battle, Not Theirs

As long as you continue to play the game set by your oppressor, you will lose. You are not determining the rules or the mode of the fight, and as a result, you are losing. This is exactly the position the oppressors want you in: constantly engaged in something you didn't initiate. Consider that you are always dealing with issues you didn't start. Even when you achieve small victories, the oppressors use these to their advantage in negotiations. They raise the stakes only to bring them down to the level they wanted all along. This tactic is evident in life as well, where oppressors distract us with issues that don't benefit us.

The goal of the oppressors is to keep us engaged in their battles, making even our small wins ultimately losses. The strategy to survive in an oppressive system must be individualized, making escape a necessity rather than an option. The oppressors are fine with a few individuals escaping, as this creates the illusion of progress and achievement. This is why we hear about the first person from an oppressed group achieving something significant—it serves to distract from the systemic issues.

The issues the oppressors have with us are not personal, though they may seem so. The real struggle begins when we unite and engage as a group rather than as individuals. True freedom will only come when everyone is free, not just a few. The war the oppressors want us to fight is about survival, not freedom. The more we focus on survival, the more future generations will have to do the same.

To initiate our own fight, we must think and act as a collective. Only then can any true benefit come from our social efforts. Reflect on this and understand the importance of collective action.

Time Validates

Hey there. Let's set the alarm for a productive day ahead. Before diving in, let's acknowledge the date, which might vary depending on where you're tuning in from. Now, let's get to it. But first, a word on the political and economic landscape here in Nigeria. It's crucial to recognize that the political elite often prioritizes their own interests over those of the people. Trusting them blindly is akin to living in a cycle of déjà vu, where they justify their actions while contradicting the interests of the people. Remember the proposal some time back that all politicians should educate their kids within Nigeria? The dismissive response to that idea was telling. It's clear they prioritize their own convenience over the needs of the people. We mustn't be naive to think they have our best interests at heart. It's imperative for us, the citizens, to organize and protect our own interests. Unity among us is paramount, transcending divisions based on religion...

Genesis 47 In Genesis 41 Pharaoh had a dream about the economic recession that would later be world scale in Genesis 47 An Israeli technocrat (Joseph) provided the solution that would later be the game changer for Pharaoh. So the recession became severe, Joseph made attempt to safe his family. Jacob (The individual Israel) relocated to Goshen and abandoned Canaan. Why should they be bothered? After all their brethren was doing well in Egypt. So Joseph bought all the land in Egypt for the king. Every Egyptian sold Joseph his field, because the hunger was very great. So the land became the king’s. And Joseph made the people slaves from one end of Egypt to the other. The only land he did not buy was the land the PRIESTS owned. They did not need to sell their land because the king paid them for their work. So they had money to buy food. Genesis 47:20‭-‬22 ICB Question? Who were th...
